RUSH, RUSH, RUSH.....
I feel like this character from Alice in Wonderland, "I’m late, I’m late, I’m terribly late!!". this seems like my mantra the last two weeks or so. I always feel like I’m behind the eight ball. I really hate it when I get like this!!! my mind just won’t shut up or shut down. I have a list a mike long to do and I just keep adding to it. Jobs that I think will take a little time take a long time, I get side tracked. Example: we went and got all the stuff we had stored at the other house and my intention was to just bring it in and put it away. Oh, no, too easy. I decided to go through each bin/bag/box and resort everything into bins 9 which I always have extras of). My daughter also had some stuff stored so I went through her things as well. I ended up doing many washes to freshen items or clean them to return to my daughter. I labelled bins and lifted and lugged them to the attic/basement or appropriate room. I almost finished it all but finally had to call it quits.. Too tired. The next day, Sunday, I hurt everywhere so I did not finish. Plus we had to go to in laws for turkey dinner on Sunday. So this broke up the day too much. Anywho... I will get it done today!!! I am also changing my bed today, bed spread, bedskirt etc. this is a tough job getting the bedskirt on by myself with a very heavy queen size mattress. But I will get it done!!! too stubborn for my own good. Lol. I am going to vacuum upstairs and do the furniture as well. Cats and their fur!!!Next week I start a housekeeping job. I go in at noon and do the whole house. Every other week I’ll add an extra chore ie window ledges, pictures..... once a month I will do all inside windows and clean the oven. Don’t like the oven thing, the fumes make me sick and really bother my sinuses. That’s why I have a self cleaning one. I think I’ll buy a mask. It may help!!Well, my daughter finished her job at the golf course so she is presently unemployed. I hope she finds a replacement job quickly. Typical mom, I always worry. The cruise is only 12 days away. I have started gathering up my things. Will probably start packing by the weekend. Some of you have mentioned your gas prices in the states. Just be thankful you don’t live here. We are paying $4.45 a litre ( slightly more than a gallon) and last week it was $5.OO. We have a jeep and we can get 1000 kilometres to the gallon if we drive 400 and push the other 600. Lol!!Anyway, gotta close times a ticking by. I have been answering journals and doing mine for almost 3 hours. Everyone have a happy Thanksgivng/Columbus day. Debbie

Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
Wow, you are a busy bee!! After reading your journal I think I will take a nap and get back to you!! LOL
Take care,
hugs Cathy
Happy Thanksgiving, hope you enjoyed your turkey, that is one of my favorite meals.
I wish you lived close enough I\'d hire you for windows and things and to have company while I cleaned. I do so much better if there is someone to talk to and I also keep going until I get things done because I don\'t want to wuss out in front of someone, Neal doesn\'t count or our house would be spotless:>)
The gas where we live runs about the same as yours and it drives me nuts when I hear about the average gas prices in the U.S. they always forget about Alaska and Hawaii which always have the highest prices. Hawaii I can understand, it is a ways to ship it but we have the friggin oil and some refrineries right here and we\'re still higher, grrrrr!!
Glad you had a Happy Thanksgiving. Funny I sometimes think everyone lives in the U.S. It would be nice to have Thanksgiving in October, then it would not be so close to X-mas. I agree with ragingfog, you make me tired just reading your journal, but you are getting ready for your trip so of course you are busy. It will be a whirl wind till you go and you will really need it then. I started to figure out the kilometers and going 400 but gave up. I am sure goole would tell me. We go 70 miles an hour, on the freeway, not sure how fast that is in kilometers or if is even speed..I will check it out. Your going to break your back like me and then we can complain to each other. You will proabaly be to busy to read my journal, when and if I get to it, but we moved a stove and fridge out of the basement today to make more room to stack wood...I will never be a furniture mover. Try to take it easy. Love Naomi xo
Happy to hear from you. We all are busy doing something. It feels good to keep our home fresh and clean. I went and bought me a new sewing machine so now I\'m try to figure out how to make it run. Boy oh boy your trip will be here before you are ready. We have had nice weather today. I\'m going to sell some of my bears on e-bay. I also made my friends new grandson 7 burp cloths. They came out really nice. I\'m still having alot of pin in my neck and hand.I do the best I can. My daughter started a new job today. i\'m so happy for her. God bless you and take care don\'t push yourself so hard. Big Hugs Suzanne
