Ruby’s presence
Was looking at pictures of Ruby and grieving. I took a pic of another cat the night Ruby died. The cat is a daily visitor but strangely was out the night before Ruby died. The only time ever or since I've seen that cat about at night despite seeing it every day. There was a strange negative energy in the air that day. I can't help but think the other cat was trying to warn me. Anyway tonight I felt Rubys presence in spiritual form. I believe she was breaking away from the dark energy. I told her there is no dark energy. The dark energy is nothing , it's gone. It wants pain and conflict. I refuse to acknowledge and feed this energy. I hope Ruby's soul is now at peace and she goes where she needs to. I went to the garden where Rubys rest place is. Was so peaceful. A single black bird on the left was chilling on the tree. No singing, no picking at fruit just serene and peace. If that's not a sign then I don't know what is. When I went home it started pouring rain out of nowhere. Maybe a rebirth of sorts. I hope Ruby is safe. At least I felt something tonight. May not have been clear but it was something. Finally

ruby's resting place reminds me of snow white, the silkie rooster my middle foster child literally loved to death when she was about 4 or 5 years old. she is 9 now. i call japanese silkies, "the lap dogs of chicken world." they are the most cuddly chicken breed i ever worked with. my foster daughter started bonding with this rooster while he was still too young to identify as a rooster. he sounded his first crow while cuddling with my daughter on the couch. they were a match made in heaven.
one day she was playing with snow white on their favorite couch spot. she was flipping his feet in the air while he sat on her lap. she flipped a bit out of wack and? ? ? YOWZA! ! ! she snapped his neck against her chest. i bet dollars to wishes you can imagine her distress. now triple your imaginings. the girl was beyond hysterical in her distress.
that was around half her lifetime ago and healing has happened but every so often i still spot her sitting reflectively with her beloved snow white.
grief is a mysterious process, norther. flow with it.
Beautiful! Maybe you can read my recent post about hearing from loved ones from beyond. Ruby will always be in your heart.
This is such a loving thing to do for the cat that was your friend and loved you back.
