routines and trying to find myself
all these routines I keep in life, all the schedules and all
the chores...to somehow learn to be ok with myself...
to learn to know how to manage for sure ...
and yet how much regular insecurity is just part of life
and natural?
I feel confident that I do a good job at work...but I do 'keep on my toes'
both at work and then here at home too with all the chores.
There's no one grand day that I'll finally push the rock up the hill...
I know I've got some flaws, I know I have some good atributes,
I know I am taking care of myself as well as possible...
It's pretty clear there will always be folks stronger than me, folks
more talented and so on...Vulnerability will always exist
but not to build it up too much inside, I think I'll just be grateful
that I am doing all that I can and feel pride of place that I have.
Peace and good vibes,
Mark

too much security gets boring to the point of complacency. ask any lion who has been in a zoo for so long that s/he will stay put and tremble in fear if you leave the cage door open.
s/he, too, is pridefully doing the best with what is available.
I hear you Arfie. I don’t want to be complacent but my search for security epiphany here is security never is secure:). thanks
Security is fleeting maybe it’s good to have one foot in the outside world to keep reminded of what it took to get here and also reminded of what’s in my power !
I agree with you. I just am trying to not close the door and shut down like the lion, but instead try to keep moving forward despite the insecurities
You are exposing the inside feelings in a positive direction. Here's to finding the balance of 'you'.
Thanks Mid!
