Rough Week - but working on a schedule

So this was my older daughter's first week back to school. The first day, we tried getting up at 5:30am, but I was an hour late getting to work. No good.
So, now I get up between 5:00am and 5:30am. First thing I do is give the little one a bottle. Next, I try getting the school/lunchbag and the diaper bag packed. Hubby gets up the older daughter, and points her in the direction of the shower. He also tries to get her some breakfast. At some point I get the baby dressed. Hubby and I then shower. My goal is to leave the house by 6:30am so I can be to work for 7:00am. Hubby drops both girls off because he doesn't have to be to work until 9:00am.
Skip to after work. I get the job of picking up. I get the baby from daycare, and then head to my parents house to collect my older daughter. (My parents get her from school.) Depending on the visit with my parents, we all get home between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Between 6:00 and 6:30, I give the baby the leftover baby food from daycare. She will soon be eating a full container. I give her some milk at put her down.
I try to then get supper for me and my older daughter if hubby is not yet home. I love it that my baby is used to staying in the crib alone as long as she is dry and fed. Usually she gets just a little more milk before going to bed at approx 8:00pm, which is also the bedtime to our older daughter.
By this time, I am beyond exhausted. I really hope that my body can keep up with this. I keep telling myself it will get better as baby gets older.
Well, I hope all my friends here are doing well. I will write more later.

Thanks for the encouragement. Working and mothering is tough to do together, but it helps to pay the bills. Need to take me a nice long bubble bath!

Yes, it is not easy being a mother and working. But you are giving the very best you can to your family, and that is the best investment you can ever make! God will give you the strength and wisdom to get through these years, and oneday you will look back and know it was all worth it! I\'m praying that you\'ll be able to cope and grow stronger everyday! Loving hugs!!

Hon, you are doing great. I remember those days & now I am a Baba (Russian short form for Grandmother Babushka). My son lives with us and has full custody of our beautiful grandson. I am up at the crack of dawn helping him with our grandson. Seems like I am doing the mother thing all over again. But, our son is an awesome daddy so he is catching on quickly.
God Bless you for you are an exemplary mom!

Hang in there, hon. This is just a moment. It will change. Try to enjoy them while you can. It is hectic, but in time you will reflect back and see it was hard, but it was worth it. Try to squeeze in time for yourself, when you can. And, just take one day at a time. That\'s all we really can do anyway.
Sending many hugs and best wishes, always.
