Rotten stinking weekend..

Hey folks, had a rotten weekend--originally had great plans, BUT (of course there's always a "BUT" in my life) they were ruined because Saturday my computer had a virus, was on the phone the entire day with Microsoft.  After the telephone and remote maratons, I became even more depressed, I guess because it was a nice day and I was stuck in the house on the phone all day, the only conversations were with the Microsoft people in the Phillipines, whoppeee.  Then it dawned on me how lonely I was.  My daughter lives with me, but she's either in work or school all the time & never home.  I was depressed the rest of the time after Saturday.  Luckily, a guy I know saved the day and took me out. Thank goodness because I was THAT bad.

I used to have lots of friends.  Now they call infrequently, they're wrapped up with their own little bags of crap.  I do tons of things to keep busy, but on my own.  I'm getting older and it's even harder (impossible) bonding with new people. I tried volunteering, meet-ups, etc.  You have to bond with someone to make a friendship, but no one seems to want to bond.

Is this how it ends????  I'd hate to think that.  On the lighter side, someone told me today that there's a senior housing complex near their friend's house in Georgia called "Journey's End".  Not "Meadow Pointe" or "Whispering Pines" or REAL cheerful place, huh?  Now why'd they name a senior complex something like that??  Was it a pun or what??  Is it REALLY journey's end??

No Maria, this is not how it ends. You can do more friends at your age too. Hugs.
