Rose, My Love
Rose, 7 January
"My ever shining spark, the hallow light to my dark,
waking to you every morning, has dug me out of my grave."
--Akumu Umaru
i wouldn't know what to call this feeling, if it were to hit me hard across the face.i grew up in a shallow place, a place where rain pours down every long cold day.i take a walk down a dead end street, just trying to gain back my long gone heartbeat. light a cigarrette and watch the smoke dissolve in the dark heavy rain.
then i see your face. soft, gentle, and great. pale skin, cherry lips catch my sight as you watch my cold, dampened eyes. even through my fogged vision, your grace i could see. let alone the great lake, of my destiny; it brought me you, my dark angel from above. let me be your lucifer and you can be my ever shining dove.
A fall from grace you take to save my soul, could i have already told you.....
<but the note was never finished; rose loved it none the less.>
