room to grow, learn and be imperfect

I have this potential move across country that I'll be trying for 3 months in the Fall.

When I came home from work today, as I wrote in the previous journal, I was extremely fatigued

and felt fatality. But I took a nap and woke up with thoughts of the move ahead.

I was trying to make sense of things, I was trying to see what it would be like.

I found myself also trying to take satisfaction from all the things in my life to sustain me through

this period (both today and lately) of transition...

I just realized that instead of feeling like I need to be so much of everything society

wants me to be and as to when I move, I considered how my outlook would change...?

a new social set of rules or maybe just culture.

Maybe I can start looking at this move with a good attitude towards my life in general..

Rather than feel just the pressure with my move, maybe I can look at it with the hopes

that it will be a place that will be a place where I want to live, learn and grow, with the room

to be imperfect but also happily taking care of life.. me and Blue.

It's a happy thought.

Sending hugs, Mark. Sounds like a lot going on but also sounds like careful thought and support are helping to guide the way. That is so cool you are going to try something new!

as a tri-continental frequent flier, i have grown convinced that one place is as good as another for the manifestations of my psycho ticks. those aberrations can manifest anywhere, in any language, any society. i doesn't even need to pack and/or ship them. they always seem to arrive before i do, even when i abuse and contuse them in an effort to get them to take the friggin' hint and find someone else to pester.

sigh. . . wherever i go, there i am. . . do you think, maybe, the wish fairy lives in outer mongolia and speaks mongolese?

steadying support while you work out all those pesky details of the transition. leave the crystal ball in the carnival tent and stop trying to predict the future. let god lead the dance. listen for the quiet voice. . .
