Roller coaster again?
To update from the last entry: J and I talked it all out. He's going to try not to take his own anger and frustrations out on me. But we're both going through some tough times (and the damn menopause hasn't made anything any easier at all), so we'll see. Since this type of thing has happened only twice in the last 11 years of marriage, I can handle it if and when it happens again. Like the song says, I could've missed the pain, but [then] I'd have had to miss the dance. And the dance with J is worth the pain. As for today: I woke up early with BAD stomach problems, along with anxiety, fear, and worry. So I slept late. Now, I actually feel okay -not great; stomach's still rolling a bit, and I feel sore, but I'm certainly not nearly as miserable as I thought I would be today. I'm hoping this is a sign that the Menopause Monster is slowing down. I'm not so naive as to think that it's through torturing me; I can tell that there's still a couple hellish days to come, butat least it's not nearly as frequent as it used to be. Maybe I can get something done today. Once again, thanks to one and all who check in with me and show concern, love, and support. I'm particularly grateful because there's no family member who has given me nearly the support that I've gotten here at this site. THANK YOU ALL!!
