RIP Bubba

This is the fleeting visitor I had even when Ruby was alive. I'm going to name him Bubba as he deserves a name. Bubba was killed today on the same road as Ruby ( on up it a bit) in broad daylight and left on road. He was placed on the side of the road by kind people (not the driver). Bubba was always scruffy not too clean and his eyes were bad. Not his fault he was neglected so badly he was skin and bones when I first saw him. I fed Bubba every day he called very well and he was putting on weight. I was still very concerned about his eyes. Bubba had somewhere to go at night so I tried not to intervene as he was not mine. He was clearly not looked after but was eating well and improving. Bubba didn't like to be held but he liked to be petted. I think I resented Bubba a bit as I don't know if Ruby went on the road because of him. I didn't let this rule my judgement I still fed him and brought him in during day. I have just got my new kitten 3 days ago. I stopped feeding Bubba and he was around even this morning. I was pre occupied and maybe not as concerned. I blame myself for him being hit on the road. He probably would of hung around if I fed him. I'm sorry Bubba for letting you down
