Retreat
I have my room booked for the Retreat. I couldn't make reservations on-line because it is so far away so I called and they let me do it that way. I have to wait a little for my plane tickets, they are going to be $800 or close to it...it's a long way from Florida to California!!
I hope, when I am in dark places I will be cheered by the thought of the Retreat...I will think "If I can just make it till August..."
Cassi's birthday is in August. I hope to learn some coping skills, be inspired by my sisters. It's going to be hard...but nothing has been easy in the last 6 weeks. I miss her...I feel as empty as a vacuum...like all the joy has been sucked out...she took it with her. I will be so glad when I can smile and mean it.

I plan on booking my room today. My flight from Atlanta to Tahoe was $500ish....but it\'s booked and I will definitely be there!

I went to the retreat last year in Boston, that was my 1st one. It was life changing for me & I didn\'t even know the full impact of it till weeks later. There is something so special about looking into the eyes of another mother who has lost a child. The bond is something that cannot be described. So glad you get to go this year....you will be so thankful you did. Im hoping to go again this year, to reunite with moms I met last year & meet the new ones.
I have not been to a retreat, as of yet. I hope you find what you need, from the soths. It is so good, to have something to look forward to. I hope they have one, closer to me, one of these years :) I live in Mississippi!!

I am grateful that you have this to look forward to. It will be life changing and I\'m sorry that I will be unable to attend this year with just recently have been making such a huge move. I will be there in spirit with my sisters of the heart as I know our children will BE. No one is ever forgotten... What a reassurance that is.
