Rest in peace my friend!
My precious loving Golden retriever passed away Friday. :( He was old and in pain it was his time. He has been through a lot with me. I had him since the day he was a pup. He lived for 12 years. He was the happiest dog ever. He was always so friendly to everybody and everything. I will miss his sweet and kind nature. It's so quiet around the house now that it is just me here. I find myself wanting to switch, but I haven't yet. though I do know that all my personalities loved him so i'm guessing we need to process this together. Hopeully it will not be very difficult.We are united quietly in our sorrow.

Of course my condolences on the loss of your dear dog. What was his name? My pup is named Leena and she has stolen my heart in a relatively short time period. I fought it but I am a dog person now. I can\'t imagine how you must miss him.
I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are such gifts to us, and the sadness of their passing is such a challenge, for they fill our homes with pure love. May grace be yours through this difficult time.

Steve his name was Chase. It\'s kind of sweet how he got his name. After my husband died when my son was 4 my son got really close with my father, but when he passed away in 2000 my son was 9 years old and heart broken. So, I thought of getting him a dog. When we went to the breeder it was on this large property and the puppy\'s were all over. My son asked me how will we know which puppy to pick. I simply said he will pick us. As he was playing with the puppy\'s my son started to run in the yard. many pups followed him, but only one stayed on him and chased him till he got him. That\'s why we named him Chase. He picked my son. :)
I am so sorry for your loss. I know animals become family. I like the story how Chase got his name. I am sorry this must be really hard. At least he is not suffering anymore. He is in doggy heaven. Hugs
