Below are three recipes that people have requested. Happy baking !!DebbiePEACH BREAD PUDDING Preheat oven to 325*F, butter a 11x7 or 9x13 panIn a large bowl, combined one can of sweetened condensed milk, and 3 large eggs -blend well. Add 2 ½ cups of diced canned peaches (drained of juice but reserve juice), now add ½ cup of reserved peach juice, 1 1/4 cups of hot water, 4 tablespoons of melted butter/margarine, 1 generous teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Stir well. Now add 4 cups ( pack down slightly) of torn French or Italian bread. Stir to moisten well. Put into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve with ice cream, cool whip or favorite sauce. I like the rum sauce, the recipe is belowEASY RUM SAUCEIn a heavy sauce pan combined 1 cup of packed brown sugar, 3 tablespoons of flour ( hint... mix flour and brown sugar together before doing anything else to avoid lumps) add 1/4 teaspoon of salt; add ½ cup of water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add 3 tablespoons of butter and 5 to 6 teaspoons of rum flavoring or more to taste. You can also add toasted pecans to this. Keeps well in the fridge and can be warmed in the microwave. HAM, CHEESE AND VEGGIE STRATAPreheat oven to 375*F, grease a 2 quart baking dish6 cups cubed Italian bread1 box/bag of frozen broccoli florets about 10 ounces6 ounces of coarsely chopped ham ( I use the canned stuff and I use 3 cans)6 green onions1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese grated6 large eggs2 cups of milk2 tablespoons of mustard1/4 teaspoon of pepper or to tasteCover bottom of pan with ½ of bread cubes, then ½ of broccoli, ½ of ham, ½ of green onion, ½ of cheese. REPEAT THIS LAYERING ONCE MOREWhisk eggs, milk, mustard and pepper together well and pour evenly over strata.Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. You can also make this the night before and cook the next day
