Renewed interest in an old hobby

The upshot of beginning to feel better is that I have a renewed interest in an old hobby. I have been a licensed ham radio operator since 2011 and I am thinking about getting an HF rig and getting back on the air once employed again. Radio, communications, networks, and computers have all been interests of mine. As the depression is in a waning phase, I am finding my attention span increased which is helpful for all of the hobbies that I have that require the ability to troubleshoot. Once I am gainfully employed and build a savings base again, I have my eye on an ICOM-IC7300. This should provide some hours of fun! :-)
