thank you for stopping by to encourage and share.......i was trying to remember if i left the house this week.......and the answer is yes, i did. i went to the doctor on Tuesday......so that was the last time I got my mail.
my trash is sitting in the garage waiting for me to do something. but what? lol.......i paid a couple of bills. good girl gold star!
laundry is in the dryer......dishes done. me? i'm clean and shiny.
since i woke late i opted for lunch instead of breakfast. i made basic box mac n cheese, steamed green beans and a cup of diced pears......it made me feel like a school kid from back in the day. we used to have these lunch tickets. the teacher would hold onto them for us and pass them out before we headed down to lunch. one of the lunch ladies would punch out a hole and off we would go into the lunch line.
tomorrow? fasting before labs (that's at 2 pm) have to fast from midnight on.........and no eating 4 hours before the CT scan. that's at 2:30.......so i'm going to take fruit & crackers to eat as soon as the test is done. mainly in case my blood sugar drops and i get shaky......
gotta make BIG DO NOT EAT signs in the next couple of minutes so i don't goof things up. OK, that's done, now to put them around in prominent places. i can have water, meds and brush my teeth......so maybe i'll snack on a bit of toothpaste and a mouthwash shooter??? idiot. that's me.
pick out an outfit and i can take the trash down when i leave. heading back to blankets and Frasier reruns. hugs......love you!

Ruthie - good luck with your medical stuff tomorrow. Good luck with the fasting also. I'm snowed in today but still have power. Hope it stays that way as a lot of people in the Carolinas don't.

I went to my Tuesday dr's appt. Both her nurse and heself asked me what I was here to see her about.. *chuckling* they called me in for the appt!! Sometimes all you can do is laugh and not give a hoot nor holler. ♥ you dear lady
You know, I wasn't getting notifications that you'd been writing any journal entries and I was wondering if DS just wasn't telling me or if you weren't posting and then I *just* got notification of this journal entry so we can now assume that DS is messing up. I'll try to catch up to your more recent journal entries this upcoming week. Hope you're doing OK!

I chuckled about your "Do not eat" signs. I put those up when I have to fast as well. I remember the lunch tickets. They don't do that anymore. It's for the best, I think, because you always knew the kids on free lunch by the color of their tickets. Love you.
