remembering to be self responsible

I woke up this morning, light as a feather -

I threw my laundry in the washer and came back

upstairs to be with Blue. I opted out of conducting

Sunday services. I want to be honest, this is not

a nice attribute I have, but I found myself starting to

act on my whims yesterday and today and that I realized set me distinctly

in a high flying, uncaring path. I realize we're all trying to be

and needing to be self responsible - and that brought me back

to understanding and humanity for being a caring, involved friend and acquantance and supporter here

on DS. I think the very aspect, the nugget of that 'caring tradition'

maybe runs a kind of duality of whims and caring in each of us??

I feel kind of like 'an other' in having that within me - but

it would make sense if we each have to gather ourselves together

sometimes - to continue to be self responsible and to engender

the brotherhood and sisterhood within us all.

I spoke about my needs yesterday. That put me in touch with some long

lost energy in my considerations - and today going with need alone put me

in touch with what I was missing this morning.

I hope you guys have a wonderful day.

I don't know if this makes sense.

i've been chewing on that compulsion to, "control my needs." during my impoverished childhood, being responsible and controlling my needs meant being okay with things like being homeless, skipping a few meals a day and/or being okay with the pain of tooth decay which has since left me toothless. as an adult, it means, "this conversation is best left to the royal courts. there is no me in their we."

don't accuse me of understanding royalty, but my guess is than when you spoke about your needs yesterday that put you in touch with some long lost energy in your considerations and today going with need alone put you in touch with some long neglected strictly personals.

just guessing. . . babbling. . . rambling. . .
