Remembering
I woke up with intense aggression. Weird. Then after worrying and obsessing on it and what it meant, I remembered to not fan the flames of an emotion or feeling and to just get on with activities of the day. Wash dress laundry. I did that and realized this helpful choice, to not fan the flames and get to work really is making the morning turn around. It's cold out and I came to Starbucks to indulge in a coffee. I don't feel well, but am better now. I think associating my self with tasks and work and community at the coffee shop is kick start for me to remember I am human and we're all struggling with our humanity and getting things done.

Aggression or agitation? I sometimes have moments of extreme agitation that is like bubbling anger that is totally stifled with no place to go.
I hope the coffee helps. Maybe a quiet day with Blue.
thanks Nikki!
great choice not to fan those flames. those pesky human emotions are allot easier to manage with a dose of mindfulness.
i'd still rather be a butterfly. . . i bet they don't have to manage all these pesky human emotions.
lucky you that it's weird to wake up with intense aggression. it's normal-for-me. so much so that i have to vent them through channeling.
keep on keeping on. . .
Hey Mark...I'm sorry you woke up feeling bad. Like Nikki, I've experienced those moments of agitation, and they were always an indication that I was dealing with a mixed episode. I hope that getting out for some coffee helped you to feel better!
thanks arfie and ladybug! Have a good day ahead!! xx
You are doing a terrific job of handling those moments where you have to choose to move through the middle.
thanks Mid!
It's wild but I am really noticing the underlying agression I have that, and now that I am understanding it,
it is something that is motivating me to keep at what I like to do. Associating the commonality is giving me
a sense of clarity and 'personal power', free of the misinterpretations that have made me feel as
though I had no agency and helplessly woeful.
