Relief may be coming my way

My parents are going to be placed in an assisted living facility next week or the week after. This means I will not have to spend the night watching after my dad anymore once it is done. Their lives and so my life will be changing but it will hopefully be changing for the better for all of us.
My brother still does not want to have this happen. I do not know exact reasons but suspect it is because he thinks it will mean he won't be able to take as much of their money anymore. This is true he will not be able to get as much money form them as he has but they are not planning on cutting him off either. He will have to learn to live on a budget and not as extravagantly as he has been unless he wants to get a job and earn his own money.
He has said that he will not let my father be placed in a home. I think he is just throwing a fit. I don't know what he can do about it unless he wants to hire a lawyer and try and get my mother committed by act of a judge. but her doctors and social workers all have come to her to make the decisions and have not indicated in any way that she is not able to make them for any reason. she just doesn't want to make them because she doesn't want to hurt anyone.
There is still some things to be worked out and the moving in to the new place for them but I am not stressing over these. I am still looking into finding out about transferring my parents property into mine and my brother's names. This would help me completely and would finaly get my brother out of their lives and force him to take care of himself and his own from then on. but if this is nto going to happen then he will still have to start to budget himself and pay his own bills as he will not have carte blanc anymore with their finances.
I'll keep this journal appraised as to what is happening.
