relief comes in many forms

Work went well today. So grateful for my job.

They're training me for a new set of responsibilities since

my boss will be on her honeymoon next month.

The work, having the focus definitely is therapeutic.

I came home and played with Blue - made lunch, cleaned

and showered and dressed for errands.

I tried to challenge my fearful and conservative thoughts

about pursuing my own path today - and so I did make it

out the door to do some extra things - My mind drilled away

at me - depressing me - like a dark or ominous cloud existed

within me - but the activity really helped.. I came home

and wrote my therapist an email - and I kind of stood back

and realized that so much of these writings that I do here or

with her - it's about not being alone with it - it's the

metabolizing of the mental health dysfunction and challenge-

I think we all have 'a drive' within us - and some

have lives where that's more automatically focused

because of commitments, like a partner or kids and

work and all the activities those things require and provide :)

And sometimes those drives are like mine...needing a therapy.

All I know is, right here and right now, talking about this day

and 'what's the haps' with Marko is really helping ease

the pressure and pain - it's like a medicine and connection.

A relief!

That's great that work thinks you are up to learning new responsibilities.

Yup, relief comes in many, many forms. More than my puny little brain can possibly calculate. When I'm not busy comparing myself to others, it is far easier for me to see the ones, even the ones my puny little brain wasn't looking for, that are available to me, up close and personal.
