Released by the surgeons!!

I have been released by the surgeons to get on with my life!!
I have been approved by the VA to continue seeing the gender specialist, as well!!
I still have bad days of depression, but there are more good days now than ever before.
 
On the not-so-good side, the one brother I thought was dealing well with my transition is not. As a matter of fact, he has decided to reject me, now that I actually am beginning to look a lot more like the me inside. His wife has likely been a part of that reaction; but I can't fault him for standing by her over me. He is married to her - chose to love her; unlike me, who he was stuck with by birth. I'll miss having him in my life, but it's an opportunity to recreate myself as I undergo this physical rebirth. None of my siblings were ever supportive of each other anyway.
 
 So, from this point on, I have a clean slate. People I meet need never know I haven't always been the guy they see, the man they'll meet.
