relaxing after a busy day

I got up at 3am as usually - showered and dressed for work.

Watched the news then headed out and got to work at around 4am..

Worked until 9am, after a lot of rushing around there. Then, I got

home, made lunch and reached out to friends, emails and paid a couple of bills.

Went to the office and worked there for a couple of hours. Then I went to 

the polling center - it turned out the one which I usually have gone to is now

not a polling place. I came home and found another polling place. Went there

and stood in line for about 40minutes...VOTED!!! The new machines are wild!

Then I drove over to Westlake Village and got my little sister a birthday present.

Then I came home and just rested for a bit.

I slept for about half an hour and now I am getting ready to have dinner at my folks' place.

I've been in contact with friends in the Kentucky and Tennessee area to see if they were

affected by the storm. Everyone is ok thankfully. Now just have the PBS Newshour on. 
I think I will take another shower - feeling grubby.
