Relaxation here I come
Today, corporate did come in, well, 3 people in total. They were there for about 3 hours and were still there when I left, so I'm not sure what that means. And other than rushing around trying to get things organized - and I had to stock all the missing product from Sunday - today was not bad. My department manager was very supportive today and let me get my work done. It helped we had a decent amount of staff, as well. I feel good about it all. At one point I was truly bored! And the only time I felt very anxious was when I dropped something on the floor and it spilled everywhere. But the clean up was easier than I first realized and I was able to calm down; I guess something about the motion of a mop can be relaxing at time.
My emotions are bouncing around, though. I feel calmer now that I'm out of work, and I am not going to think about it the next 2 days. I've earned a break. Plus I have plenty of cleaning to do. My house is getting new flooring on the first floor (minus a powder room) next week, so I have to start clearing out closets and what it. Fortunately, it'll be done on separate days, so not everything has to be moved at the same time. But honestly, there is so much stuff. My mother is a hoarder, so there's stuff everywhere that she doesn't need. I can't say the rest of my family is any better, but she is horrible about keeping everything. I've already thrown away things, but hid it in the trash so she doesn't know that it was tossed. And more than likely, she won't remember about it.
