relationships
I am learning that in relationships there is a duality
of a kind. There's a mix in our feelings - We may love someone for our connection and who they are
and then conversely we are faced with a prickly side of theirs or agression or whatever
negative - and that can be a duality which can create an anxiety and for those of us with mental
health challenges (for where we stand or how we feel) and we can spin from an anxiety into an anger and global distrust -
I caught myself doing that last night - and GRATEFULLY I CAUGHT MYSELF BECAUSE I KNEW IT
WAS THE ILLNESS....there IS a duality in relationships -as there is a light and a shadow
side in all of us...maybe? What do you guys think? I am just trying out this idea..
I think a lot of the times we may be wanting things both ways - a certain way
we want to be treated or talked to and yet- we each probably want
things both ways for ourselves and in relationships - Then we have to prepare
to deliver on that - and not just want things strictly our way - (and then want compassion
for our own foibles) - compassion and acceptance about foibles is a two way street
- things go both ways in a our foibles when it comes
down to what we each want and what we each can deliver.
I do like those who are trying to live in a sense of ethics in life -
but I also know it's an impossibility to be total 100% about
it in every situation - as we are human animals and not meant to live in a perfect aeshetic
I just had a really fun conversation with my therapist - and so these thoughts seem a bit
overstructured but I had wanted to write about it before hand - so I am following through.
A sense of humor is important - about ourselves and in life in general. :)

duality? ? ? i solidly believe relationships are far more complex than simplistic dualities. light/dark. good/bad. love/hate. one extreme/other extreme. holy/evil. tom-ay-toe/tom-ah-toe. seems to me that most of life happens between the extremes. as attractive as the simplicity of dualism can be, it makes no room for the shades between the extremes.
as you stated here, we are all mixed bags. when we relate to other mixed bags, the mix gets even messier. i'll bet the relationship between you and mister blue has a few surprises in the mix.
whatever the evers of those whats, do cultivate that sense of humor
