Rejection is just redirection
Well I came up short on my till twice and have gotten a warning at work... Interestingly enough I figured out if you type the zeros on the keyboard too fast it puts a contractual agreement $25 line item in there. So if I simply hit the cash button I would be short on it. I took a picture and explained to my boss. She simply said thank you for making me aware of this. If I come up short too many times and I am fired well then rejection is just redirection. If I have to I will go to a temp agency until I figure it out. Hell maybe I will find one that goes nationwide and when I am ready go for where it's less expensive. ( Rent doubled since 2018 I had a three bedroom town home go from 1200 to 2500) The stage hands union does'nt seem to have too much on the train line. But somethings so I could also choose some shifts from them. Hope your week is going well!

You are obviously very intelligent and a problem solver to have figured this out. You surely can not be the only one making this "error" or "mistake". I don't know what to call it, mistake isn't exactly correct. But good for you to talk to your boss and let her know. They always want the employees to work fast but this is an example of not working so fast. Take your time.

Not only standing up for yourself,, helping an unknown co-worker by figuring out what was wrong and addressing with your boss!!! This is a very valuable strength, not to complain, rather figure out the problem and bring a solution...something for your resume..."troubleshooter". Where ever your feet land, you are learning Huge Life Lessons! <3 :)
Great attitude! I agree with the others that you demonstrated a lot of initiative in figuring out the problem and explaining it to your boss. I hope things work out for you!
