Regretting
Now i am having anxiety because I emailed those journal entries. My heart is pounding and I feel like running only I am still sick so I can barely breath anyway.
I thought it was because my daughter and friend were here, They were only here for 30 minutes but it was like their voices were boring into my head. I just shut my eyes and tried to not hear. She was on the phone earlier and normally I can shut it out but I could hear everything she was saying and I felt compelled to listen and i didn't want to. It was so irritating.
Finally they left so I thought it would get better and it did somewhat. The noise is gone. The noise wasn't just their voices it was the footsteps, the rattle of bags or paper. Everything was just so loud.
My heart is still pounding and i feel scared. i don't know how to calm down.

Walk and breathe deeply. Keep breathing deeply and with your mind\'s eye follow that deep breathing from the moment you pull air into your nostrils, down your throat into your lungs--feel your chest expand--continue watching your breath as it moves into your stomach and passes into your intestines--feel your gut expand--continue following your breath as it moves down your legs and out the bottom of your feet.
I call this particular type of breathing \"Baby Breathing Plus\" because if you\'ve ever watched a baby sleeping on her back you\'ll see her stomach rise with each in-breath and lower with each out-breath. The \"Plus\" takes the breath down the legs and out the bottom of the feet.
When I started to work on my healing I could only track my breath from my nose to my throat. It seemed to stop there. As I continued to release the trauma energy my airway opened up. Today I can follow my breath to the bottom of my feet.
Our body needs oxygen, particularly the brain, and when we breathe deeply we give it what it needs; in return, it helps us relax.
It requires practice to track our breath but the payout is having a tool at our immediate disposal when we feel anxious or stressed...and with practice, it works.
See for yourself.

Well, I went back and re-read your post. Sorry you\'re so sick and can barely breathe. Maybe instead of practicing Baby Breathing Plus you can lay there and focus your mind on feeling the energy coming from different parts of your body.
In your mind\'s eye concentrate on feeling the energy coming from your hands. Don\'t look at your hands, close your eyes and just think about them and feel the energy there.
Once you feel the hand energy move to a different part of your body and feel the energy coming from that part.
See how that works for you.
It may feel like it, but you won\'t die having sent the journal pages (to your therapist?) Each time you find yourself imagining what might happen you may want to make a conscious decision to change your track of thinking.
You\'re doing hard work right now but know that it will pass.
