Regal Cinema Popcorn... ok, and Iron Man 3 :)
So tonight is 5$ movie night and Rich (my hubby) wanted to go and see Iron Man 3, which was great! But then I have a thing for Robert Downy Jr... so it was an easy sell! LOL!
I have to be honest, I was not sure I wanted to go... cause I knew I'd want popcorn! I have a thing for movie house popcorn smothered in the butter, well, whatever that crap is they call butter!
You see.... I had my days eats all planned out and tracked. about 1400 calories worth.
We got a large, with butter!! ***SIGH****
So, I decided to make this good... I decided, while I was wiping my greasy fingers on my jeans, ummm, napkin... that this was farewell popcorn. My "last supper" of sorts at the theater. And it turned out ok... Yeah, it screwed up my calorie count for the day, and i ate plenty... but when I hit the point of feeling full from it, I told Rich to put in on the other side of him so I wouldn't keep munching on it.
So, long ramble (sorry I am so wordy!) wrapped up. Another farewell said... experienced... checked off my list...Next time we go to 5$ movie night I am sticking a protein bar some other such item in my pocket and smuggling it in... I am DONE with the movie house popcorn! No more greasy fingers... no more greasy spots on my jeans where I wiped my fingers... no more picking pop corn out of my teeth for the rest of the night!
Movie house popcorn... next time I come see a movie, I am just going to take a deep breath, inhale your smell... and walk on by!
