Rearranging
I have long believed there is a direct correlation between my compulsive rearranging and my psychic healing/growth process. In the times I have no personal possessions to rearrange, I will rearrange rocks, leaves, trash piles, the hairs on my head or whatever is handy and moveable. I sometimes try to find words for this process, but I mostly let it function in the realms beyond words. This morning my words for ^it^ might be, "Rearranging the neural pathways." Words are formed in those neural pathways, but the functions of the relevant neural synapses precede the formation of reactions, thoughts and words. As I rearrange whatever physical objects I am using during each round, cognitive actions are reinforcing the neural rerouting. At least, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it for at least long enough to click, "Publish." It won't the first time if I scratch my head in bewilderment when I read these words later. What was I thinking? ? ? Was I thinking or psychopating?
Yesterday found me rearranging the TV room where I have been sleeping here in the Urban Homestead. The initial motivation for the rearranging was the diahrrea and resperitory distress both GD and I have been suffering. I came to believe that the distress was caused by the proximity of the sky bed we had been sharing to the honey frames Hubs packs in moth balls for storage during the winter months. A lightweight internet surf confirmed that resting our heads within inches of those moth balls could, indeed, produce the symptoms we had manifested.
The continuation of this morning's rearranging coincides with the packing for my return to the river region. Am I packing or procrastinating? Procrastination allowed. I can pack for a road trip quicker than most of the people I know can get ready for dinner outing.
The ranch property where performed the survey work between October 2016 and March 2017 lies 3 hours north of here, more or less on one of the many routes I can use for 14 hour drive to the river region. At the time when that work met its abrupt end last year, most of my personal work and research had been moved to the barely habitable house there in preparation for the longer term development projects. I am reasonably confident they are precisely where I left them. While the Breach of Contract in the river region precludes the moving of the lab equipment, the art equipment and paper portion of my work can be accomodated. How long I will be there still vascillates with the anxious uncertainties of the co-owner mysteries.

I have never liked moth balls! I saw on a TV show that putting them under bushes gives birds a way to de-lice themselves. I'm glad you found the problem and I hope for a quick recovery.
Yea, moth balls are pretty yucky, but. . . Getting honey off of bees wax is harder than getting white off of rice and there sure are allot of creepy critters that love honey. There is a pretty long list of reasons why it is worth the compromise of using the moth balls in order to be able to reuse the frames.
Sigh. . .
The good news is that the relief from moving the bed was pretty close to immediate.
just hugs arfie xxx always amazed how you can talk about your processes and methods even when you describe them as not having words. You are amazing. Just keep doing you, whatever you need to heal. supportive hugs my friend
Every day.. "from chaos to order.." some way, some how.. maybe we all have to do it on a level,
