Ready for depression

Me and Frank have been together for 8 months now. Yesterday he told me he's got to move out of his house to save money. He asked me to think about him moving in with me, if not, he'll be moving in with some friends in Rockmart about 30 minutes away. Why did he have to ask? Why when he's got the next two days off and we could have spent some nice time together in the beautiful weather? In this day and age most people would think I'm wrong. Most couples move in together without marriage. I don't fault those who do. It's just that after 11 years of separation from his wife he will not get a divorce. He's been in Georgia for 5 plus years and still has Illinois tags. He went to file his taxes and found out that if he files separately he'll owe money so now is trying to get in touch with his wife so he can file jointly with her. Something just isn't right. His life should be more situated. I'm not being a prude. I just don't think I'd be happy if we moved in together. Is there something wrong with me for not letting him move in with me? I'll have to tell him. He wants an answer in a few days. I'm scared. I'm going to lose him and I already know that the depression will hit and I can't stand it. Am I making the right decision? I don't know how I'll live when he's gone. I'll be all alone again.

thats really bad. how long have y\'all been dating? oh u said 8 months. thats really hard. well u shouldn\'t feel obligated to move in with Frank. Frank sounds irresponsible and put u thru a lot of stress. he shouldn\'t have asked. and he likes as u to move in because he can\'t pay his rent. he\'s someone not responsible. i\'d get more info on the guy. ask him more questions. don\'t be forced to have to move in with him. he has gone about it the wrong way. and he might have been looking for a girl to move in. i feel so bad for U. just take your time. and talk to people. and u can give frank a chance but it doesn\'t look good. he has problems. now he wants your help with his problem. let him move in with his friends. either way it\'s bad. say no and he\'s mad maybe breaks up. you said yes and move in. then some other problem of franks comes up. and U know u could help him keep his own place. just asked frank \"What ways or decisions could u be ok with?\". good luck sorry

You already know how I feel. Absolutely NOT. Let him move in with his friends. If he doesn\'t come over to see you and calls it off so be it. That\'s better than having him move in at YOUR EXPENSE and then later down the road he finds another woman who can offer him more and away he goes. (and this WILL probably happen) I really don\'t think he loves you I think he is using you now that I know the length of time and also that he wants to file jointly now. He has absolutely no plans for the future. He is just looking for a free ride. You also know what I said about you having to get yourself in order. BE STRONG.

P.S. the old saying three strikes and your out. He has strike 1 Not geting a divorse in 11 years. strike 2. Not driving with valid plates and license for 5 years.. Strike 3. wants to file jointly. which I don\'t think you can do if you are legally seperated for that length of time. Strike 4. Now he wants to move in with friends or you. Someone to pay for his living. What\'s strike 5 going to be? beside all that look at the stress he has given you and the times he is so demanding.

Go with your gut feeling on this one. You don\'t have to move in together if you don\'t want to. You need to be ready to move in together, and you don\'t sound like you\'re ready for it. Don\'t be scared. He\'ll take it like a man. If not, then you know what kind of man he really is. I just want the best for you!! Good luck! I wish you the best!!
