rather than mine alone, it's ours together

I get so caught up in my head (haha if you haven't noticed) but

today as I was working, the ideas from yesterday when at home just kind of matured and bubbled

and when I came home today I thought about the fact that I am alone and instead of

just thinking about my own satisfaction, to quiet the yearnings in me that are so sybaritic and instinctive at times,

I thought again about challenging that inclination of just blindly filling myself up with things and actions

and not questioning myself. I thought about what I like, and I thought about what others or might like.

I think when you merge with someone in a relationship - it's really about two people - not either or, or, neither nor.

You get to have your own style - respected by the other party - and they get to have theirs as well. Does this make sense? I am not feeling so monolithically blocking of others' influence in my life because I know what I like.

There have been powerful influencers in my life that I have been worried about. I think it's just time to keep open

about life and respective of that idea....rather than mine alone....it's ours together. :)

Long is the battle of Us against Them
Us thinks we has won but then again
Them grows so fat
While Us grows so thin
Us tries one more time and again we is struck
That really and truly, Them doth suck
'Till one day we breathe in a Spirit of Trust
To see there is no Them
There is only us

I’m ashamed to say I often forget about my other half’s needs and wants. It’s important, but never forget yourself.
