Rare over 50 single christian men - extremely hard to find.
The biggest challenge is to find that rare commodity of a over 50 years of age, single, christian man. Most churches are filled with men and women. The man is married or in a relationship. If a man is single, there is usually a mental or physical health issue involved. There are lots of women over 50 and single. To find that elusive single christian man over 50 is the challenge. Most churches do not offer and group or activities for the over 50 single people. Its the biggest complaint I have heard so far. I got together with six christian people including myself, 3 women and 2 men (my brother and is friend). We are are over 50 and single. We would like healthy kind caring and loving relationships. Its the problem.
Even if I was not looking for a christian partner, there are still more single women over 50 than compared to men. Its just the way it is as the man seems to die first just like my Smokey did. We are left in the lurch and are young enough to try to find someone else.
I am a red blooded Canadian, kind, decent and easy going woman seeking same in a man.
Oh well, I won't hold my breath if I meet anyone but you will be one of the first to know if I do.
I am not holding my breath on this issue.
I wish I had a job or the money to retire. This would make my day even if I did not find a man to share my life with now. With money, I can travel or do things with my friends or go on vacation to visit with my girl friends.
We all have things we want and our own personal dreams.
Just sharing what has been going through my head, my experiences and thoughts with those on Daily Strength from Diane B.

I think you have hit on a target. Let me add, those available men over fifty are very cautious. It\'s the high school graduates from the sixties of which I am one. The babyboomers coming to age. Independence was a big thing, and anti establishment. I can\'t think of a more difficult time to penetrate.
It\'s the reason, I personally prepared to be alone after Don\'s death. It was my BF\'s thought also. My only advise is friendship first and little pressure to move past that is the best thing I can suggest. My BF dated more than me after his wife died but was put off because, like me, he needed to put himself first. It was a self-centered generation I\'m sorry to admit. You are worth the best because you are the best. Keep that foremost in your mind and seek the best for you. Sharon
