Randomness city

Dear DS diary,
Ugh, I haven't been here in what feels like an age...(sigh)...I'm so sorry to my friends here. :(
Just some thoughts tonight:
* I've been starting to track what I eat using SparkPeople.  A necessary step, it turns out, because I've become more aware of what I'm actually eating as a result.  In some respects tracking is a crapshoot -- pardon the word choice -- because for the most part I don't cook for myself, but it helps.
* Which brings me to some good news for once: My dream of running a 5K is showing signs of life. :)  I've been much better with exercise over the last week or so than I have been in months.  Workouts need some fine tuning but answers won't come there overnight.  Oh, and Julie111, I never answered you about why I felt my workouts needed a makeover: They had been getting boring.  Which is probably why they slipped off the face of the earth for months.
* MLB season starts tomorrow night (Cardinals-Cubs, a game that can be seen on ESPN).  Just one quick thought there: I know San Francisco lost Pablo Sandoval in the offseason, but Bruce Bochy is the best manager in baseball right now, in my opinion; the Giants should be okay.
* I don't know why, but I'm tossing around the possibility of maybe doing a livestream on my Puzzlefan30 YT channel some night.
* I'm glad Easter is quiet in my house this year.  Last year my oldest brother planted the seeds for a nightmare that for three months ruined my image of bunny rabbits (it seems everybody in my family has gone out of their way to land on my bad side)...and since we're in that weekend of the year, it's a retrigger risk again.  Somehow the bunny stuffie I have isn't enough to help my feelings on this one (to wit: the trigger was a story he relayed of an Easter egg hunt in which someone in a life-size bunny costume was tackling other adults hunting for eggs.)
