Random thoughts in Twitter style
Dear DS diary,
A bunch of thoughts tonight, so I'm going to try to keep them to those 140-character limits that Twitter has. Inspired in part by sportswriters for The Boston Globe doing the same on occasion:
* Cheers to NBC for providing alternative TV on Thanksgiving with the National Dog Show. Having John O'Hurley, who owns a dog himself, host is brilliant.
* Icky nightmare the other night; involved me losing the friends that I have. Feel scared by it. Don't know else to put this into words yet.
* So NBA commish Adam Silver is in favor of legalized gambling. Concern: Is he aware of those collegiate point-shaving scandals in the 1950s?
* Going to Boston in two weeks to watch college hoops. Or at least hope to. Fact I'll be going in broad daylight will likely save the trip. Nighttime still a no-go.
* Interesting side effect of Hunger Games movies: Archery ranges are seeing an uptick in activity recently. Possible revival of that sport in offing?
* Apparently I'm not the only one sick of the holidays already. Colleague at work had her Bob Seger Pandora station on all day today. Wanted to hug her.
* Finally got suitable camera for selling my unwanted stuff on eBay. But like everything else, specter of possible addiction issues holding me back.

This is an interesting way to do your journal! How creative of you! Its like a little news cast for me. Some very interesting facts. I know Im not looking forward to the holidays but I never am anymore. So you are definitely not alone in that one. Nice you were able to sell some stuff on eBay and got a camera. I hope you will be able to enjoy it. What is it youd like to take pictures of if your addiction doesnt hold you back?
