Rain
I used to love rain but now it comes and with comes more pain. I've been up since 4 am on my recliner trying to go back to sleep but I haven't been successful. My left arm hurts and my lower back and right leg are burning. It's so hard to sleep when you can't last more than a minute on your back. I feel like my sides have no time to rest and maybe that' s why my left arm can't completely heal. I try to walk and lift the tiny weights on a daily basis to see if my condition gets better but so far only my left arm strength is getting a little better. The movement in my neck is also still impaired due to the stiffness and I feel weird not being able to turn my head like I used to. I continue to use the bone growth stimulator every night but I don' t think the surgery took care of all my problems. Julios competition is going to be at Southwest high school in about 5 hours hopefully I'll feel a little better by then. The ridge on my head is also starting to flare up again and so is the one on my left arm. I might have to jump into the shower and have José apply a lidocaine patch on my lower back before he leaves today. I really wish a miracle would happen and my pain just disappeared so I can go back to living my life the way I intended. José and I had always talked about traveling when the kids got older and didn't live at home anymore but now even that looks like it's not going to be possible. It's been about a little more than 3 weeks that we started walking and I am no where near my previous pace. I walk at my 70 year old mothers pace
