racing to the finish line
I was sitting here, enjoying my lit candles, with the windows open
and the buffeted nature sounds amidst the morning fog.
I was thinking about how I've been racing in life. Almost always
denying my current experience for the ultimate end that is coming....
which at that point for some reason I will answer my ultimate questions then.
I separated myself from that race just now - (like we all start racing life like a little sperm :)heh)
...and I started to see life in it's nature as an athletic sprint.
A sprint where we celebrate the beauties of life and also create life
for the continuing of the journey.
My young one is a kitty. I take good care of him in the life we lead together.
Oddly I'm feeling ready to be a Dad. To give a little life athlete the tools
to get on with the race of life - and keep life going.
Life seems normal :) (((HUGS AND PEACE))

after my retirement from construction in 1995, i started a campaign to lose the urban urgency that had me driving like an aggressive fool and racing with rats i had never met and am unlikely ever to meet.
i have since been dubbed, "the queen of mosey," but still often feel like i'm trying to out mosey other mosiers.
sigh. . . think i should just accept that humans are competitive by nature? even the queen of mosey?
hope you win the race, markus questionarius. zoom zoom. . .
mosey on down the road....! :)
It’s kind of like creating races for ourselves to run. Some might even set their sights higher in choosing a big or bigger challenge.
I know for one that when things get so routine and yet still have nothing planned outside of the routine, I can get kind of a blue (mood) about myself. I reference the encouragement 'that we all have moments of unknowing.' Just choosing to steady up and keep on keeping on. Sticking to being in the routine and getting crap done helps me. I'll go on a hike to get ideas about a challenge!
I like your positive attitude!
thanks ccleaver!
