R.A. rearing its ugly head again
I think my dream run of 10 weeks with no RA flares has ended. I had forgotten just how painful it can be.
Two nights ago I was in such pain from the cheek area in front of my ear, I ended up in tears and couldn't get to sleep, in spite of taking two strong painkillers prescribed by my Rheumy. I must have woken every hour from 1am to 5am and finally got 4 hours' sleep after taking 3 Panadol.
The pain in the face has almost settled down but today, I have had trouble walking because of pain in my right knee. It looks as though R.A. has decided to let me know it’s still around. What a bummer! I was hoping to not have any problems while our daughter is home from overseas and I almost made it. She leaves on Saturday morning. I just don’t want her to worry when she’s so far from home.
All I can do is to be very grateful for the 10 weeks' R.A.- free time I've had.
We're going to a wedding on Saturday but I don't think I'll be rock'nrolling. LOL
