Quite an achievement

Well, in two days my friend's mother, Ruth, will be 90!!  Sometime during our friendship and I'm not sure how it happened, she became sort of a mother figure to me since my parents both died many years ago. So.. here's Ruth... she is about 5 feet tall if that; she has been Jazzercising for years and continues to do 6 classes a week!!  All of the ladies in the classes got together a little celebration for her today... we're having a big party on Saturday, but these gals just wanted to work out with her and then shower her with cards, gifts, and love. I stopped over and it truly was heartwarming...she was surrounded by 30-40 people who just admire her -  what an inspiration!!!!  She kept saying this is the best party I've ever had!!! Do they do this for everyone?? It really makes you wonder though- why do some people live to be 90 and others die so soon?? Many times in tragic, very painful ways... with a lot of suffering . . . life IS a puzzle. If we could all be as lucky. . Just had to comment on the milestone birthday. . . Smokeygirl
