Quick Thought
Well Journal,
With all the Bridal showers and weddings i have been to over the past year,a thought has occurred to me....with the divorce rate being as high as it is,and with the 2 people dividing everything in 1/2 for the most part.
Why not have a DIVORCE PARTY/ SHOWER,to where you can go and register and pick out the things you want.......and then see the people at the shower that are oh so happy you finally got rid of said person....
Hey you never know....with marketing being what it is with targeting the customers,maybe one day they will pick up on this concept.
Yes these are the silly little thoughts that go thru my mind from time to time.

Yeah, you would have to find out from the courthouse, everybody that got divorced for that day and have a BIG shower. sounds great. good attitude, that\'s exactly what we need for a NEW life.
There are showers for people getting married to celebrate the NEW life AND a baby\'s NEW life. Now, WE need showers for Divorced people to celebrate a NEW life, too.
yeah, I would have loved to have a party, to just forget and have music, food & friends. I did that anyway for the next couple of yrs after getting divorced, I didn\'t stop partying. I needed it after being married to someone who HAD NO life in them. I kept the music on, made new friends and ate out a lot.
Even though your not divorced yet, you could start by keeping the music on, get new friends and get out with them, cook your favorite stuff or get out & treat yourself more often. It could be like
Pre-season divorce and just carry it into your NEW life.

Oh, reality check here. When there is a divorce, someone ends up with more stuff than the other. It\'s hardly ever divided -- evenly. As far as kitchen stuff, you really can\'t divide that evenly.
So carefully plan and make a list one day of the stuff that you want to take.
I did the divorce package since we were amicable. It asks on there to list what each party wants to take.
