Question/ Advice/ Opinion...
My college career advisor sent me an email for a job she wants me to apply for. For some reason she loves to take her leads from Cragslist.com. So I looked at the job and everything seems typical. It was for a naturalpathic office, which is what I'm interested in! But then I looked down at the part that tells me how to apply and I just don't know, something seems wrong. It asked for my resume, a cover letter expalining why I would be best for the job...AND... A recent photograph of me....? I didn't apply to it because that makes me feel really uncomfortable. But at the same time I NEED a job and should apply to everything I can find. Can jobs ask for pictures? Sounds strange. They shouldn't be basing a reason to hire or even interveiw someone off of their looks...

Whether it\'s legal or not depends on the state you live in. Ask your adviser if there\'s any legitimate reason for this. It sounds fishy to me too.
dont do it.
do you work to live, or live to work?
if you live to work, theres other jobs that pay more for such demeaning tasks... if you work to live, then you dont have to settle for such a thing. either way, you can do better.
