I hope you have an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your family! Try to bear in mind that it is just a number of the day on the calendar and you don\'t miss Greg any more tomorrow than you do any other day of the year. This is how I get through it (my son\'s death date fell on Thanksgiving day last year). This is always a very rough week for me since my Michael died the Saturday before Thanksgiving. But I have come to realize that they are just numbers indeed! This year, his death date fell on Friday before Thanksgiving but it was on Thanksgiving last year. It really boggles my mind, truthfully. Unless you last saw Greg on November 22nd 2012, tomorrow is not day a year ago that you last saw him. At any rate, I hope you, parents and sister and family enjoy Turkey day!
Peace.
Julie you are one of the most forgiving person that I know! This is so kind to take on all the holiday work! It is obvious that you LIVE your FAITH!
Not knowing how you are feeling is of course the fact that there are so many emotions that happen after losing a child. Your lack of family support brings in even more emotions. Just go with each emotion with your mask if that will get you through. After they leave you can let every emotion go as you need.
Yes, that is important to remember and focus on--that Greg is alive and well--and sending you signs to confirm this! Try not to overdo! You CAN survive! If I can...anyone can!
THANKS everyone...
