backed down the drive to send out a small stack of holiday cards wearing a long blue nightgown, an oversized gray sweater with big pockets & tangerine lined pink slippers.........I am soooooo elegant darlin'..........LOL! yes red readers are perched on top of my head.........ever the well adorned funny girl.

making soup for breakfast. 3 minutes of hard nuking and it will be ready. annie is trying to get at something i put in the sink........this looks so wrong.......all I can see is her tail up in the air......looks like she is rising up from the sink itself. mercy. it is chicken corn chowder.........wonder if i will like it, it sure does smell good............my first time trying this soup. yes, it was an accidental purchase, we'll retitle it "brain fog surprise soup"........but what the hey........
let's live life large and be warm soup aficionados. it will be lovely, i promise!
i put some gel stickers on my kitchen window. found them at Wal-Mart........they are reusable, washable and sooooo cute. mine say Merry Christmas! with little holly leaves and berries........looks extra pretty when the sun shines......reminds me of eclectic non permanent stained glass bits! P R E T T Y ! got two sets.......one set to look at when I do dishes........and the other one is on my front door inside the circle of my holiday wreath. little bits of red and green ........fa la la la la la la la la.
the hardest part was using my arm to stick the stuff on........poor little left arm is not a happy helper, but the rest of my limbs always cheer it on!

haven't decided yet........about how much decorating to do or not do. i think about getting a small replantable tree instead of decorating my artificial tree. last year it took hours to set it up and decorate it and then 3 days to recuperate from all the fun..............then i think if i go to the store to get the tree i have to somehow get it out of my car into the house and will that be too hard????? i still can't levitate.......i'm like the slowest one in the magic class. keep getting held back. i may never play in Vegas............I know this is hard to believe cause I showed such early promise...................yup, I'm lost in Silly Land. maybe i should downgrade to an evergreen wreath and some boughs......add twinkle lights to the mantle and call it good.............yup, i'm thinkering it through.
sigh, i broke one of my hourglasses this week. the littlest one.......glass shards & teal blue sand went EVERYWHERE. of course the investigative reporter cats were immediately on the job........taking pictures & asking questions.........nosy goobers........!
they probably already told you during a night journal via their own kitty cat network (KCN) but if not i'll go ahead and fess up now...........yes, it was me. i was dusting - one sec it was in my hand and then it wasn't.........it fell down down down and cracked.........and splintered. sad, tell myself it was just a thing, but it was so pretty to me..........yeah, i'm a goose.
there will be teal blue sand in the cracks now through the end of time.

it is another gray day here......not too cold or anything, just gray with all the bare limbs creating stark lacy sky paintings...............it is interesting to look at..........i can see pine cones peppering the back yard and one lone squirrel frozen like a statue on a boulder in the back........i live in a man-made tossed salad house in this long time forest like place. well it makes sense to me...........we .......mankind that is.......decided to put all these funny bits of living in captivity people spaces made of sticks and stone and brick in the middle of the woods........the woods got no vote. glad they let us stay and find refuge and sanctuary...........ok definitely time to eat breakfast soup.

I\'ve seen those gel letters and they look great. Maybe you can just forgo the tree this year? Seems like you are thinking alot about it and struggling. Do you NEED a tree? Want a tree? We have a small 3ft fiberoptic one, goes in my bay window this year BEHIND the sofa so I\'m not even really looking at it. Maybe the gels and some ornaments here, there are enough?!?

When I worked at Friendly\'s (do you have them around you?) we served Corn Chowder! YUM! One of my favorites. I would supposed that adding chicken to it would be delightful! Specially for chicken lovers, of which I yam one!!

The vet told us not to get a tree this year because of the kits. She also said not to use ribbons on presents but that\'s going too far for me. Anyway, thought I\'d throw that out there.
