keeping relative

I came home last night from my parents, and I found myself spinning a lot

trying to find my way back to my homelife. I just start to objectify

and it leads to a cycling and spinning that this time froze me in place.

I decided to just get back to the self responsible...

I just got back into doing the chores

keeping up the house - playing with Blue - doing the routine of going to the coffee

shop first thing in the morning and then keeping in touch with friends....

I shared some photos - I thought about wanting to be in community too - but

the place I most want help isn't there - and so I decided to google the St. Max's church

nearby...and found they were having a clothing drive today from 8 till 11. So
I cleared out my closet and gave a bundle to them and then came home.

I am knowing that doing something for someone else - is so important.

It felt good.

and then luckily I had a zoom call with my siblings...

it was good to see and talk to them...

That which we do for ourselves dies with us. That which we do for others out-lives us.

Taking care not to let myself swing to the self-abuse end of my psycho conditioning, I find that doing for others is an essential part of my well-being and self-esteem. I honestly believe we are here to serve one another. As Bob Dylan put it,

"It might be the devil
"Or it might be the Lord
"But you're gonna have to serve someone."
