pumping myself up

I've been taking care of the day here. Went to work.

Then had therapy with my Dr around midday.

Then did some chores and stayed on schedule

in terms of getting meds ready, getting clothes ready, cleaning

and getting ready for bed etc...

As I layed in bed watching the news programs I always

watch, I found myself battling inside with a sense of powerlessness

to deal with my energies as they came up. They overwhelmed...

I was alone with it, but then I felt decided to contact a friend

just to talk it out on a text....and that helped SO MUCH!!

I thought about myself how I pump myself up for work...and I texted about that -

and I know I try the best that I can, and that I can do the work

and can get on with it..

I then chose to have the same perspective and attitude that I have for work

for how I deal with my emotions and energies at home...by myself..

I realized that being alone and no one or no work to remind me of my personal

power... I can lose a sense context about my challenges.....eh? sound familiar??? :)

When you're alone, you take things in differently for sure sometimes...

So I just pumped myself up in that text to a friend - that I have handleld these strong energies within me

before and I can deal with them! I know I can!

So, this entry is a little triumphant in that I know I can handle myself at home

as I do at work in terms of managing my own outlook for each context.

It's never all fun - and it's never no fun.

Anyways, I guess I just wanted to share....

peace and namaste!

That's good that you came to the realization that you can work out your home problems the same way you do you work problems. I'm also glad you have a friend you can talk to about these things. That's big!
