pulling myself up once again
had a good day at work and then came home. made lunch, showered and
then dressed for my online Psychatrist appointment.
Got gas before I got home from work and decided to play the lottery (ha). Gambler I am not - but for some reason
I do once in a while do this.
Had a phone call with my Aunt Mary and Uncle Nick. It was a good conversation
and as they age I am starting to see more humanity in them - supporting Mary as
she complains about life and talked to Nick about this and that and work.
Then at 11am talked to my Resident Psychiatrist and Supervising Psychiatrist
and that was a good conversation. They are great. I feel in good hands. The last
word from her was - I believe you're in good hands - in your own good hands and the
good hands of the therapist.
Afterwards went to the Petsmart to buy litter and cat food. Got a coffee along the way..
The appointment left me feeling really with a sense of well being - not like I was perfect
but like I was ok with who I am. Faults and all.
I then came home. Played with the cat and didn't have a plan - ate some pickles and then
had cereal and remembered I had clothes to put in the dryer so that was part of a plan/routine
because of the weekend. Pickles and cereal you say.. not together !! Pickles before going out to
the mail box.. Raisin bran after because the scratch was itching! :)
As the time passed a little bit, I knew I wanted to do something but I felt stuck.
I think changing ones perspective to 'back up' and see what's in front of me to understand
what it means really opened some doors for me to write my thoughts.
I guess I am learning to find meaning again after the jostles of the day.
Sending peace and clean laundry...

Haha as I was reading that was what I thought as I read your words « pickles and cereal??? » and then you wrote just that a few lines later.
Have a good weekend!
