PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION!

Today was a very positive day - - - no urges, no slips; now after deviating from my purpose several times in the last few months, I truly know the meaning of 'ONE DAY AT A TIME'.  When I first started coming to this site and remained GF, there were days when it really wasn't too hard; the weeks went by and I was super proud of myself.  I know I can have that feeling once again . . .it is just a matter of not giving in to temptations.  They CAN and WILL be there - - it's all in the way each of us handles those temptations!  Thank you to everyone for the support on this site!!!!! I can't really put it into words; some of you are excellent writers - you express yourself so well; I think I'm better on-on-one.  I love reading some of the posts (Dianne, Auzgirl, and many others) very well written, from the heart, and inspirational.
