Progress
One guy with a backhoe went after the old out-building yesterday. So far, so good. He left the backhoe here last night, so I feel a little more confident he will be back within a reasonable length of time. I am guestimating that one more dump truck load will free up the aeroponics lab canvas for prepping. Prayers in progress. I am enchanted by being able to use the words, "aeroponics lab" outside of a letter with episode suggestions for the Star Trek writing staff. Monitoring the enchantment for signs of it growing into delusional obsession. . . It wouldn't be the first time.
The house heater is back in service. Gratitude for the problem having been the cheapest available fix. Not only got the heater fixed, but the dapper young man even showed me how to use the gas fireplace. Life in the sub-tropics doesn't provide allot of opportunity to learn about fireplaces, in general. Color me clueless on how to use a gas fireplace. Now I know, at least I know for this one. I remain clueless on how much variety there is in gas fireplaces.
I love this feeling of relief that the days are finished shrinking. Today will be longer than yesterday. The Earth has turned.

Happy to hear of the progress, a fireplace sounds cozy.
I’m glad the earth has turned, I think the transition was making me feel a little crazy
Hugs :)
I have a feeling that the tilting of the earth is a lot like the full moon pull, it is there but hard to prove the effect. good news is that the moon is no where near full. I am with you, glad to be on this side of that tilt.
!yah for the fire place and the lab raising !
All sounds good. Your own little slice of heaven?
Green things run from me...
