Productive Day at Work
Today I got all the work done that was printed out for me. I'm glad, since it was a lot of work and it made me feel good to be productive. I made 13 appointments, which isn't bad considering I did 15 yesterday and I was on hold a lot more today. I also got to leave early since I finished everything early. I had to come home and make some phone calls, so I didn't go to the information desk like I normally do. I only left a half hour early. I had to leave messages for the people I was trying to call, but at least I called during office hours. I get out at 5 normally and walk home, so then I get home around 5:10 so the offices would have been closed. I was going to go to the gym after work today, but I did my exercises here at home. I might go to the gym after work on Thursday. Tomorrow I might go to the doctor for my eye. I have this mole growing out of my bottom eyelid, and I should get it checked out. I have to go before I would normally would go for work, so I have to wake up early. I'm not looking forward to that, but you do what you have to do.
Today was pretty boring. I slept okay last night once I got to sleep (I finally fell asleep around 1:30 am after taking all my pills at 11). I slept through the night for the most part, which is good. I normally wake up around midnight, but I was already awake then so it didn't make a difference to me. I also normally wake up around 2, but I didn't which made me happy. I'm pretty tired today... I did have a small bout of cleaning, but I wouldn't call it hypomania. I just noticed that something needed to be cleaned right away so I cleaned it. At work I was a bit hyper for a bit, but I wasn't twitching like I was yesterday. My back is still paying the price for the cleaning I did yesterday, so today I'm trying to take it easy. I just made dinner and that's it.
I just finished looking at my eye thing. I don't know what it is... it looks like a blood blister, but it's got substance to it. It doesn't just pop and go away, it keeps coming back and getting bigger. I know I need to get it checked out, but I've been scared to see what it is, plus I don't have a lot of money. I guess if there's anything I should be spending money on, it's my health, but still. I'm worried about if it's nothing and I just wasted the money. Then again, I would get peace of mind, but it hasn't been really stressing me out. I just live with it. I don't think about it much. I do pick at it, which I know I shouldn't, but I pick at things like that when I'm bored, stressed, or whatever. I guess if I've been picking at it a lot I am worried about it, but I never know these things like I always say.
I just don't want to go to the clinic for it, but they are the only ones who will look at it for the price I can afford. I wish I could go to my regular doctor, but I can't afford him without insurance. The clinic I work at takes people without insurance for a sliding scale fee. I hope this doesn't turn into some big thing. I just want it to be nothing, go away and be done with it. I don't want to sit in the clinic for hours, waiting to be called and have it be nothing. I know I'm contradicting myself- I say I don't want it to be nothing to be a waste of my time and money, but I want it to be nothing so I don't have to worry. Geo is a bit worried about it, and he's the one that's making me go to the doctor for it. I know he just wants what's best for me. I just wish I had more money, because they are probably going to want me to buy something to put on it. Maybe it's just a sty and that's all I have to worry about. I think I'm going to look up what a sty is and see.
Food today was okay... I was in the 1,200 calorie range. I weighed myself today and I'm 232. I'm dropping weight like crazy, and I'm still pretty sure it's the reduction of the Depakote that's doing it. I'm just glad that I'm losing weight. I wonder what the scale will say tomorrow when I go into the doctor. That's one thing to look forward to- an official weight under 250. I haven't been on a doctor's scale for a while, so it's something to look forward to. I had my regular breakfast of a chicken thigh, ramen with lime and chili for lunch, and regular dinner (chicken with potatoes and corn). I know I need to eat more, but we don't have a lot of food in the house, so it's hard. When we had more food I could always just eat a spinach salad or something. I might have a peanut butter sandwich tonight if I get hungry again, but we will see. Mood today was good, just tired. Stress and sleep I talked about above, so that's going to do it for tonight!
