Prison - Insanity - Death

If I continue on this path, one of the 3 choices will be all I have left.
Prison -- Not an option
Insanity -- I'm working on this now
Death -- Well, its coming "by reason of insanity" if I dont do something now
Just being brutally honest here... I see it coming.  I see myself going crazy.  Yes, I do have many other stressful things going on in my life right now, but this addiction is what will throw me over the edge --- IF I LET IT.

Note to self --- Don't let it!!!!

Gee Shelia, you are a wreck. What is going on? Maybe you should start going to GA meetings and get involved with others who are trying to beat the addiction. You were a couple months ago, so on track. I know you have had stress and sadness but why can\'t you see the good part? You have a great job, I think. You have lovely daughters and if they are having problems in their lives now, it\'s natural but it\'s their life. You have a nice house to live in and lots of hobbies. I don\'t know, what I am saying is try and concentrate on the positives and rejoice in them. I wish I could help you. hugs and love Barb

Hold tight, find your strengh. I know what you are going through- I am there too. But I like my life better when gambling doesn\'t have the upper hand. You are bigger than gambling..

I understand what you are saying here....when you really look at the CONSEQUENCES, it gets serious. I took that look a little over 2 yrs ago, and decided I couldn\'t accept what was coming my way if I stayed on the path I was on....and I quit gambling. My life has not been carefree since then, but it is immeasurably better than it would have been if I had not quit when I did!

Yes, the addiction can throw you over the edge...but I see you standing there saying \"NO\"....saying you are not going there!

Stand strong, my friend. You CAN walk away from the abyss.

Reaching out to a support group does sound like a very good idea right now....GA????....online meetings on Safe Harbour? Grab something to help anchor you. As always, I and your other friends are here to listen and lend support.
Big Hugs, Dianne

Sometime\'s good to face brutal facts - gives you strength. Keep strong, be positive and look foward.

Sheila, what\'s happening?? I know that you have had a lot of stress lately, of course, but I also know you are very strong and you can get past this. I\'m thinking of you, girl, and sending positive thoughts your way - you can overcome this!!!!! I saw your new goal - you\'re on your way again. Stay strong!
It\'s not worth losing your self in this crazy addiction. Take care and let us know how you are doing and how we can help....
