Pride of Baltimore II
I went to Old Town Alexandria. There is a Sail 250 celebration of the 250th anniversary and tall ships are coming to different ports in this area. The Pride of Baltimore II came to Old Town. Next month more tall ships will be visiting, there will be 5 ships. The main event will be in Norfolk where many ships will be featured. I got to go on board this ship and ask questions of the crew and walk around. They also had a 2 hr sail before I got there. There was a fee, I didn't want to spend the money. Touring was fine too. The weather was nice, a little breezy.
I took pics of this ship and boats on the dock and the ferry and behind the ferry is the MGM casino, which is in National Harbor across in MD.

it's so nice there's lots of events, and celebrating 250th anniversary, and all of the great joys of being down by the seaside :) There's an area in Mystic, CT, where we've seen some tall ships when we've driven past there :)

New London, CT has a tall ships festival, called "sail fest", they cancelled it last year, but might bring it back this year :)

Very pretty there. I loved the blue sky. Nice it was breezy when u went but sorry it might have been a little chilly. I'm glad u had fun. It's so nice to see the picture of you. You looked so nice. Tu for sharing & I'm glad u had fun. Hugs
