I meant by next of kin right to me is that I'm cutting off all access to me.  That way if I get sick or die, he will not have any rights over me or my body.  It's like divorcing your parent. 
 
As to his future, he told me to butt out so I am.  I will never talk to him again.  In two weeks, I will change my telephone number.  In a year, maybe move out of state.
