Pre-op appointment
Feeling better today. Thank God! Decided yesterday I wasn't going to go through with the surgery, but woke up this morning and thought I might as well go for my pre-op appointment. I may change my mind a dozen times before the 24th.
I am glad that people are posting their true experiences with GB because I am not going in with any misconceptions....I am still scared to death to do it, but I am just as scared not to do it.
They took my blood pressure, temperature, weight, MRSA swab, EKG (2X), vial after vial of blood, gave me a sleep apnea questionnaire, 4 chest x-rays, and money.
They called the anesthesiologist about the EKG skipping beats...don't know what's up with that. Everything is done except for the measurements and the liquid diet....I think I will go through with it.

It\'s not easy, but either is obesity. It\'s WELL worth it! I\'m not gonna lie, the liquid diet sucks, the pureed is much better. But it\'s only for two weeks each. That\'s what gets me through. And the payoff?? A much happier and healthy life. Sending lots of love!! :-)
