Prayers, please

Hi everyone,
Hoping everyone's new year is a gentle one. We have all been through a lot here at FMO and of course missing our children every day. I am asking prayers for my husband Ken. As some of you may remember, he was diagnosed with a benign meningioma (benign brain tumor) about 3 years ago after having a contrast MRI due to terrible headaches. His neurologist has been watching the growth & shape for 3 years now. The problem is that the tumor has doubled in size and will begin to impact his speech center and possibly the right side of his body. He has an excellent neurosurgeon who will be performing surgery on Ken tomorrow to remove the tumor. The risk of complications is low because the tumor is between the two hemispheres so it should come out cleanly. It is a three to four hour surgery, in recovery one to four hours and in ICU for 24 hours. If all goes well after 24 hours he will be moved onto a regular surgical floor and then home by Saturday. Please pray and send Ken positive thoughts.
We are grateful the tumor is not malignant but anxious because it is brain surgery.
Thank you for being here for me and Ken. I appreciate it. I will keep you posted.
Love and hugs, Linda
